This animation stemmed from a desire to create a creature of ambiguous nature- both familiar and strange, otherworldly - guided by straight ahead animation and digital collage/assembly. By creating a series of animated loops with this straight-ahead approach, the creature gradually took shape. Patterns, shapes and pulses emerged in the process, and this creature is a result of an attunement to these discoveries.
